Prior to beginning her career in financial services, Rebecca practiced law for over 10 years, with a focus on corporate litigation and professional ethics. She earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelors in Business Administration.
As an Advisor, Rebecca exercises the same analytical skills that were useful in her law practice to create a personalized approach for each client’s unique financial situation. Her favorite part of the job is the relationships: getting to know each client in order to better understand their objectives, values and concerns. She enjoys empowering clients to pursue their financial goals while aiming to instill a sense of security and understanding around financial matters, through the support of a valued advisor.
Having grown up in the Richmond area, Rebecca returned with her husband Jon, also an attorney, in 2018, to raise their 3 children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, music, cooking (and eating) good food, and riding bikes or hiking in the many beautiful outdoor spaces that Virginia has to offer. She is also active in her community, serving as Director on the Board of the nonprofit that supports the local park and playground and as a Trustee on the Board of her children’s school.
